Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure high-quality output and efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced fabrication technology in a fast-paced factory environment dedicated to manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Set up laser cutting machines Operate laser equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring precise cuts according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser machinery Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to inspect parts for quality compliance. Handle materials with forklifts and other materials handling equipment to load raw materials and unload finished products. Collaborate with team members. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine logs, and quality control records. Proven experience operating laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or factory setting. Ability to read blueprints accurately. Knowledge of materials handling procedures including forklift operation. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments; experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
