POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for responsible individuals who take pride in their work and are interested in being a part of a company that is changing the way the world eats. The Machine Operator will support the mission by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery used in our grow and packing areas.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Ensure that automated machinery used in the farm is running smoothly, efficiently and effectively - optical sorter, scaling, bench movement systemsFine tune automated systems to achieve accurate task executionCommunicating across departments to sync task prioritiesTrouble shooting system errors, communicate with maintenance when necessaryFacilitating the training for machinery when neededOccasionally provides direction to the teamsFollowing all GMPs to ensure continuous safety and efficiencyReporting all possible deficiencies or practices to Supervisor that could compromise food safetyOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Mechanical aptitude with automated systemsIntermediate computer proficiencyDetail and quality orientedUnderstanding of safe food handling practicesAdaptability to fast-paced environment and quickly evolving processes1+ years of experience working in a Machine Operator roleAgriculture, science, and/or food production background a plusThis shift is a 12 hour shift from 7:00 am - 7:30 pm. The person in this role must be available to work every other Saturday and Sunday.
