Set up and operate the automatic knotting/tying-in machine, ensuring the correct pattern and number of ends are tied accurately. Verify that all ends in the pattern are present and correctly matched before and after the tying process. Monitor the machine's operation and make adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Quality Control & Troubleshooting:
Inspect warps and the tied section for defects, missing ends, or incorrect patterns. Troubleshoot and correct mechanical or thread-related issues on the tying machine or warp. Report any major mechanical issues with the tying machine or weaving equipment to supervisors or maintenance staff immediately.
Safety and Maintenance:
Adhere to all plant safety rules and procedures, including the safe operation of all material handling equipment (e.g., warp trucks). Perform routine cleaning, oiling, and lubrication of the tying machine and related equipment. Follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury.
Documentation:
Scan and record all weave machine beams prior to moving them into the weave room. Record production data as required (e.g., number of beams tied, time taken).

Previous experience in a textile manufacturing environment, particularly in weaving, warping, or related machine operation, is highly preferred.
Skills:
Ability to accurately tie a weaver's knot (or fisherman knot). Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high volume of fine threads.
