Extrusion Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery used in plastics manufacturing, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production processes. Your expertise will help us deliver precision products that meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Demonstrated capability of running multiple lines to include roll-form and unsupported extrusion lines Operate a forklift Weld steel or aluminum with an Argon welder Maintain an up-to-date log sheet Enter internal pick for raw materials Label all extruded material using SAP Know and produce material that meets or exceeds customer expectations Follow all health & safety policies and procedures Maintain good housekeeping using 6S Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must possess the ability to read and follow instructions, good attendance, good dexterity, and eye and hand coordination. Must be mechanically inclined and extrusion processing experience preferred. Demonstrated capability of running multiple extrusion lines. Be computer literate and/or capable of obtaining the knowledge & ability to use the computer as required. Forklift operator certification or ability to pass certification. Must be able to stand, lift, and rotate frequently; as needed to monitor an extended work space. Must successfully complete all aspects of training on the job in a timely manner. Good communication skills and attitude to succeed in a team environment. Flexibility to work overtime as required. Perform set-ups according to instructions (and operate line within specified process parameters)

Pay:

From $22.83 per hour
