Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an Inspection/Packing/Machine Operator associate on 1st shift at an excellent employer in Clinton, SC. This is a TEMP-to-HIRE opportunity for a reliable and experienced associate. Must be flexible to work either four 10-hr shifts (Mon-Thurs, 7a-5p) or five 8-hr shifts (Mon-Fri, 7a-3p), depending on the needs of the Department. Manufacturing experience is REQUIRED and Quality Inspection experience is a PLUS. Steel toe shoes are

WEEKLY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluating and inspecting critical-to-quality characteristics for products in support of manufacturing activities in the NESTA Department Performing basic inspection and critical packing duties on a routine basis Will learn to operate other equipment, as needed, as well as table-top work Attention to detail is very important Initiating corrective action requests Assisting operational personnel with duties as needed in assuring delivery reliability and product quality Monitoring process conditions, notifying production of possible process problems and documenting non-conforming products & conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1 year of Inspection in a Production environment is
REQUIRED HS
diploma/GED required. Background and Drug Screen will be completed. Acceptable mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic math functions (must obtain passing score of Tech III on skills assessment). Must have some Machine Operator experience, and can acquire knowledge to operate department machinery such as slitting, rewinding, inspection, core cutter, etc., as needed. MUST understand computers/inventory management systems to get transactions done. Knowledge of standard procedures and practices with the ability to read, interpret, explain and follow Company procedures and policies is required. Ability to promote harmonious working relationships with Company staff and outside business representatives. Skill in communicating, in verbal and written form, both in customer service and vendor management. Skill in recording information accurately, neatly with minimal rework is required. Skill in compiling and reorganizing information is preferred. Attention to detail in all work and documentation is a MUST Mechanical aptitude suitable to understand and execute instructions on simple adjustments, measurements and settings with laboratory equipment is required. Must be comfortable working around and with mechanical equipment in a safe and productive manner. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 20-40 lbs. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift and sit throughout the shift. NO Forklift is required
