Staffing Associates is recruiting on behalf of a family owned textile company in the Gaffney SC area. At this time we are recruiting Spinners. "
PUT A SPIN ON IT
" Our Spinners are responsible for transforming raw fibers (cotton) into continuous strands of yarn or thread which is crucial for creating fabric for weaving.Please read the following:
Schedule:
4-5 days a week, No Weekends Must be able to work in a loud environment MJS Spinning machine experience is a plus Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Machine Operation
- Tending spinning machines to produce yarn/thread
- Quality Control
- Checking yarn/thread for defects
- Production Support
- Setting up machines.
- Safety
- The first priority of any task is to complete the task safely Effective textile spinning is crucial because it transforms raw fibers into quality yarn, determining the final fabric's strength, texture, and appearance, impacting cost, efficiency, and the suitability for different products.
Pay:
$12.32- $14.
