In this energetic role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain various machinery to ensure smooth production processes. Your focus will be on precision, safety, and continuous improvement, contributing directly to the success of our manufacturing operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills while working in a fast-paced environment that values proactive problem-solving and teamwork. Duties Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing machines according to specified guidelines and production schedules Monitor machine performance throughout shifts, making adjustments as needed to optimize output and quality Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they cause downtime or defects Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper lockout/tagout procedures and use of personal protective equipment Record production data accurately, including cycle times, quantities produced, and machine maintenance logs Troubleshoot minor mechanical problems quickly to minimize disruptions in the production line Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals while maintaining high safety standards Experience Prior experience operating manufacturing or industrial machinery is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals and interpret machine instructions Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently met Ability to work in a physically active environment, standing for extended periods and handling materials safely Good communication skills for clear reporting of issues or concerns during shifts Familiarity with safety procedures related to industrial equipment is a plus but not mandatory This role is perfect for individuals eager to build their technical expertise in a lively manufacturing setting.
