The ideal candidates will have experience operating pouching, filling, and packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality products while following all safety and sanitation standards. Requirements of the Pouching Machine Operator
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous machine operating experience required
- Experience operating pouching, filling, or packaging machinery preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and adjustments
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and production standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work in a team environment

- Set up, calibrate, and operate pouch-making and filling machines to meet daily production goals
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure efficient operation
- Inspect finished pouches for proper seals, fill weights, labeling, and overall quality
- Ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements
- Diagnose and resolve machine jams, packaging defects, and minor mechanical issues
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and ISO standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work efficiently with production team members to meet production schedules and quality standards
