The Machine Operator will support our customer by setting up and operating industrial machinery to fabricate components for switchboards. If you are looking for a full-time Machine Operator position starting at $17/hr, apply today.

Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:

  Set up, operate, and adjust production machinery (e.g., press brakes, punch presses) to manufacture parts according to specifications.

• Blueprint Reading:

  Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine machine settings and material requirements.

• Quality Control:

  Perform visual and physical inspections of finished parts using tape measures, calipers, or gauges to ensure quality.

• Maintenance:

  Perform basic troubleshooting and maintain a clean machine area to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

Safety:

Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Working hours:

5:00 AM

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years manufacturing, operations, or technical experience in an industrial setting.
• Must live within 30 miles of Sumter, SC.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
