Job Description

Who We re Looking For Hood Container Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator at our Sumter, SC facility. What You ll Do Set up, adjust, and monitor the die-cutting process according to job specifications. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy and conformance with customer requirements. Troubleshoot and correct minor mechanical issues with minimal downtime. Communicate machine performance issues to maintenance or supervision as needed. Complete production and quality documentation accurately and on time. Assist in changeovers and clean-up to maintain machine efficiency and product quality. Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies.
What You Bring Preferred Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of machine operator experience in a corrugated manufacturing environment preferred.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.). Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with basic computer systems and data entry for production tracking.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Work in a fast-paced, noisy, industrial environment with varying temperatures. Why You ll Love Working at
