Full Time Trenton, SC, US Shift Hours:
11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Sunday- Thursday)Overtime:
Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting the heatsetter. The individual must be flexible and willing to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed.Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the heatsetter machine according to production schedules and work instructions. Set machine temperatures, speeds, widths, and tension controls based on product specifications. Load raw materials into the machine and ensure proper material flow throughout the process. Inspect finished material for quality issues such as wrinkles, uneven thickness, discoloration, shrinkage, tears, or other defects. Record production data, temperatures, machine settings, downtime, scrap, and quality checks. Make minor adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on the heatsetter and surrounding work area. Conduct regular lab tests to assess the physical properties of the products, and promptly report any deviations or non-conformances, taking appropriate corrective action as needed. Assist in other areas, such as production, or shipping/receiving, as required. Follow all company safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.Requirements:
Prior manufacturing and machine operation experience preferred. Basic math and reading skills. Willingness to learn new tasks and operate equipment after training. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training can be provided.What We Offer:
