Full Job Description Description:
Riverside Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for operating multiple single-head machines to create a variety of business logos, initials, and/or decorative designs on customized products.
What You'll Be Doing:
Operating embroidery machines to embroider business logos, initials, and/or decorative designs on merchandise Using embroidery hoops to hold fabric in place during embroidery Processing customer orders according to customer specifications, utilizing various equipment at full capacity Selecting correct thread color and guiding it through thread path of embroidery machine Filling orders in a timely and accurate manner Preparing and packaging orders for shipping Performing quality assurance as needed Conducting routine preventive maintenance Working in a warehouse environment Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or GED required Prior experience with embroidery or embroidery designing software is a plus Ability/aptitude to understand/master setup and operation of complex embroidery machinery Ability to thread a needle and understand thread tension Extraordinary attention to detail is needed Must be fully committed to excellent customer service Must have a high degree of quality control Must demonstrate a positive attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task when necessary Intermediate computer skills - data entry Must have regular, reliable attendance Ability to work occasional overtime Ability to work independently with little supervision Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships Must be able to pass drug screening and background check Repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms to demonstrate fine dexterity skills Ability to move about the facility, climb, bend, reach, kneel, and crouch Strong color, near, and distance vision are required Ability to stand the majority of the time Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
