Duties Operate fiber decortication machinery with precision, following detailed standard operating procedures to maximize yield and quality. Prepare raw materials for processing by performing sorting, weighing, and initial handling tasks in accordance with safety and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Monitor equipment performance during decortication processes, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct quality checks on extracted fibers, documenting results accurately to ensure compliance with specifications. Assist with packaging finished fibers securely for shipment or storage, maintaining proper labeling and documentation. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse, utilizing forklift certification to move raw materials and finished products safely. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to lean manufacturing principles, reducing waste and optimizing workflow. Qualifications Prior experience in manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques to promote efficiency and continuous improvement. Valid forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment safely. Familiarity with CGMP standards to ensure compliance during fiber extraction processes. Strong skills in material handling, machining, and packaging within a manufacturing context. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to manage inventory and logistics effectively. Ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
