 6:00 am- 2:30 pm with opportunities for Overtime

DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIESThis position is for a machine Operator in the ARC department. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of production techniques, great attention to detail, and a dedication to safety. Overtime is anticipated with this full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Ability to read and comprehend documents including but not limited to policy manuals, safety rules/programs, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and simple correspondenceIn addition, the ability to communicate information effectively one-on-one and in small group situations and settings is requiredAbility to apply common sense understanding to perform work instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form a must. In addition, the ability to solve problems, which involve multiple variables in a standard situation, is requiredAbility to work effectively to meet deadlinesAbility to work with a diversified work forceBe willing to cross train and be promotableQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environmentExperience with forklift and/or overhead crane operation a plusComfort and familiarity with power hand toolsWillingness to train, certify, and operate forklift and overhead craneAbility to work effectively to meet deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentGeneral mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
