Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machine Operator with strong leadership skills to join our team. The ideal candidate is confident operating a variety of heavy equipment and capable of leading crews to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. Equipment Operated Bulldozers Loaders Backhoes Excavators Skid steers Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on commercial and residential job sites Perform grading, excavation, trenching, and site preparation work Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes Lead and mentor crew members to maintain productivity and morale Enforce safety standards and company policies on-site Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Coordinate with supervisors and project managers to meet project deadlines Qualifications 3+ years of experience operating heavy construction equipment Proven leadership or foreman-level experience preferred Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and site development practices Ability to work in various weather conditions Valid driver's license Strong communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to job site safety What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) Opportunities for advancement Steady, full-time work Supportive team environment Paid time off (After 1 year) Paid holidays (After 90 days) If you're a skilled operator who takes pride in your work and can lead a crew with confidence, we want to hear from you.
