Hourly Purpose:

Automatics set-ups are required to work relatively independently. They must set-up, operate and make minor repairs to Screw Machines, Transfer Machines, CNC Machines, Manual Welding Machines and Parts Washers as required. They need strong understanding of set-up sheets and parts prints. They must complete quality checks that require using pic gages, depth gages, snap gages, length gages, micrometers and calipers per control plans. This position requires performing all department preventative maintenance activities on equipment and assist in training of automatics operators. They assist operators in troubleshooting tooling issues. They are required to wear steel toe shoes/boots, gloves and hearing protection. Automatics set-up is responsible for supporting the company's mission statement and the overall business objective.

Nature & Scope:

Automatics set-ups are required to follow all safety processes and procedures. They must have problem solving skills, ability to set-up and adjust tooling and the ability to quickly learn technical information. This position reports to Team Leader.

$22.00 - $22.26 per hour
