Job Summary As a Packaging Technician, you will help support daily production and distribution operations by preparing, packaging, and organizing products for shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Package materials and products accurately by hand Assemble, prepare, clean, and line cartons and pack containers Identify products and packaging materials by part number Package consigned parts, kits, and related materials Inspect products for damage or non-conformance Maintain packaging tools and equipment, including tape guns and glue guns Keep assigned work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines Assist in other production and distribution functions as needed What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy Positive attitude with a team-first mindset Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently Basic math and problem-solving skills Dependability and strong work ethic Previous warehouse, packaging, manufacturing, or distribution experience is a plus, but not required Work Environment / Physical Requirements Clean, climate-controlled work environment Lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally Standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and grasping throughout the shift Benefits (Summary) MDSA offers competitive pay, annual bonus opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with a company match, company-paid life/LTD/STD, FSA options, EAP, wellness incentives, PTO, safety bonus, service awards, and parental leave.
