Primary Purpose of Role:

A successful machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better. You should have a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require collaboration with co-workers. The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be completed smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Key Responsibilities:

Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines. Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools. Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Maintain activity logs. Use required personal protective equipment properly and follow all safety rules. Ability to read and understand operating procedures relative to job being performed. Follow all operating procedures. Overtime as required. Other duties assigned by supervisor or lead.

Key Performance Measures:

Attention to detail. Teamwork and communication skills

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. Ability to maintain normal flow of production. Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to pass powered lift equipment testing.

Travel or Physical Demands:

Must be able to work in hot/cold environment. Sitting Walking Standing Climbing Kneeling Kneel/Crouch Pulling Lifting Up to 50 lbs.
