Job Description

CPS Wood Products is looking for a 1st Shift Push Saw Operator to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Check the daily cut sheet assigned by the Supervisor. Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to/have the capability to learn how to enter different cut lengths/recipes into the saw system for accurate cut demensions. Must be able to or have the capability to read blueprints Must be able to or have the capability to learn how to use the bander. Skills in quality/attention to detail Knowledge of safety hazards Ensure rework tag has been placed on the product and have Quality Control sign off on the product to verify the product is correct. Ensure that any non-conforming parts are removed, hold tag applied and placed in a hold area for Supervisor to inspect. Must be able to run or have the capability to learn how to run the mini press in sustained production mode, or for parts repair. Must be able to lift at least 30-40 pounds Work 36 hours a week, get paid for 40!!!!
