None Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for the set-up and operation of machining tools to perform repetitive machining operations.
Essential Job Duties :
The set-up and operation of machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations. Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance on machinery. Frequently moves/lifts up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift. Constantly position self to run/maintain machinery (stooping, bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling). Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in proper manner at all times. Ability to work varying shifts and overtime. Ability to read and write the English language. Must be able to move about in and around machinery and between lines. Must have specific vision abilities to include: close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
