Machine Operator A well-established automotive parts manufacturing company in Morristown, TN is looking for full-time Machine Operators to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to start a career in manufacturing. As a Machine Operator , you will be working for a premier supplier of driveline components and pumps to major automotive brands like General Motors, BMW, Toyota, and Nissan.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee machine operations to minimize machine errors and to identify defective parts. Measure and inspect completed parts to ensure your machine is working correctly and to improve the overall quality of each part produced. Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines and cleaning all necessary equipment in your work area.

Reliability and Dependability with a commitment to be at work, on time each day. Flexibility in your work schedule with availability to work overtime or to work any shift. Ability to understand English, both verbally and written. Readiness to follow directions from your team leader, supervisor, and/or manager. Display a positive outlook in your conversation and conduct. Able to work in a fast-paced team environment without direct supervision. This position requires you to stand, walk, push, pull, reach above, below and at shoulder level, move repetitively to left and right, grasp, use fine finger dexterity, talk and hear. Must lift up to 20 lbs. repetitively and occasionally up to 40 lbs. Vision capabilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires exposure to industrial, manufacturing areas that use personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. A High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) and at least one year of machine operation, equipment operation or road construction experience ; or, a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements is mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits:
A starting pay rate of $19.63/hour with a $1/hour premium for off-shifts. Be present for your entire 8 or 10-hour shift as well as any required overtime that may be needed . Note, Overtime may be required with limited advanced notice. On-site cafeteria with vending machines. Full-time employment based on your attendance, performance, and recommendation of your supervisor. Access to Computers while on scheduled breaks.
