Job Description

What is Compounding? Think of Compounding as the "heart" of our manufacturing process. It is where raw materials—like waxes, oils, and pigments—are carefully weighed, mixed, and blended according to precise scientific formulas. As a Compounder, you are the artisan-technician who transforms individual ingredients into the beautiful cosmetic formulations our clients love.
Your Role:
Essential Responsibilities As a Compounder I , you will assist in the mixing and blending of unique product formulations in a fast-paced environment.
Your Day-to-Day:
Mix & Create Blend raw materials following precise formulas to create cosmetic colors Operate specialized mixing equipment to produce high-quality batches Match shades and make adjustments to get colors just right Prep & Organize Gather and pre-weigh ingredients for each unique formula Manage inventory flow to keep production running smoothly Help the team stay on schedule for timely delivery Quality Control Perform quality checks to ensure every batch meets standards Troubleshoot issues and suggest solutions when formulas need adjustments Maintain spotless, sanitized equipment following safety guidelines Team Support Assist senior compounders with complex formulations Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects Keep the production area clean, organized, and efficient What You Need to
Succeed:
Education:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent hands-on experience) Comfortable with math: fractions, decimals, percentages, and conversions (US to metric) Able to read, write, and speak English clearly Chemistry background is a plus!
Experience:
1-3 years in high-volume manufacturing Experience mixing or blending products in batches preferred
Required Assessments:
Must pass a Hue color vision test Complete Mechanical aptitude assessment Complete Attention to Detail assessment
