Packaging Technician - 2nd shift

Position Summary:

The Packaging Technician works with the Production lead on the Canning Line from empty cans to finished cartons. You will work on various machines including a de-palletizer, filler, etc. This is a fast paced job that requires attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Pack products according to specifications and quality standards
• Inspect items for defects or damage
• Label packages accurately
• Prep pallets with product
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
• Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned Required Skills and experience:
• Basic math, reading and writing skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs. comfortably
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, twist, and climb ladders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate controlled environment
• Must be able to stand for duration of shift Other Skills and experience:
• Previous manufacturing or food/beverage production experience preferred
• Strong communication skills; Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
• Able to operate various forklift types or willing to learn
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

We are planning to expand with new state of the art equipment to be able to produce up to 2.5M cases a year based on demand for our services. Our property is 84 acres that includes an indoor and outdoor music venue, 18 hole disc golf course, hiking trail and of course the taproom.
