1PM-9PM Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines, ensuring precision and quality in all production processes. This role requires a strong understanding of various measuring instruments and machinery, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate laser cutting machines with precision to produce high-quality components. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to set up jobs and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, applying GD&T principles as necessary. Use hand tools and operate additional machinery, including CNC machines, press brake machines, forklifts, and cranes, as required for production tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Laser Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers) and their applications. Knowledge of GD&T principles is preferred. Experience operating CNC machinery and laser cutting equipment is essential. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing processes is advantageous.
