Job Description
Job Summary Codeword is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Embroidery Specialist to join our production team. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week daytime position working a standard daytime schedule, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on production needs. The ideal candidate has experience operating industrial embroidery equipment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality finished goods. This role is hands-on and works closely with the production team to complete custom headwear and apparel orders accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Operate state-of-the-art Tajima embroidery machines and related production equipment. Prepare garments, hats, thread, backing, and other materials for embroidery production. Monitor machine performance throughout production runs and make adjustments as needed. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, stitching issues, defects, and overall presentation. Troubleshoot basic machine and production issues as they arise. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on embroidery equipment. Follow production instructions, job specifications, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate production records and communicate issues to the team when needed. Help keep the embroidery production area clean, organized, and efficient. Support the production team in meeting daily and weekly output goals while maintaining high quality standards. Required Qualifications Experience with embroidery, apparel decoration, manufacturing, production, or similar hands-on work preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues in finished products. Ability to work independently while staying aligned with team priorities and production deadlines. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Reliable attendance and consistent communication. Schedule and Work Environment This is a full-time daytime role, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The expected shift is a standard daytime schedule, typically 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is not an evening or night-shift position.
