Full-time Job Summary:
The purpose of Neck Line is to create the ideal sanded guitar neck. Neck Line is the last step in the creation of a guitar neck before it is attached to a guitar body. Operators need to be intimately familiar with model types and wood species. Producing an ideal neck is paramount to creating a guitar that is both perfectly playable and aesthetically pleasing.
Essential Functions:
Learn and execute process Standard of Work Meet expected productivity standards Able to operate a spindle and orbital sander to a high degree of precision 95% pass rate based on production requirements Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.) Maintains product flow at appropriate rate Adheres to department protocols (5S and Safety)
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge of various production models. Strong attention to detail. Outstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision. Teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner.
Education and Experience:
Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand most of the day and lift up to 10lbs occasionally.
