Straightener Operator

We have two shifts available:

Responsibilities:

Set up and run multiple machines to straighten small stainless steel tubing (under 3/16" diameter) from coils to straight 10' lengths. Adjust machine as needed to ensure product is running within dimensional, straightness and aesthetic specifications. Ensure quality checks are completed at proper intervals plus count, label and package tubing for shipment. Complete documentation of quality checks for orders and maintain proper product labeling.

Requires good hand skills and problem solving, specifically: ability to adjust multiple variables to achieve proper machine operation. Reliable, punctual, and hard working---be on time and ready to contribute each day. Your team must cover for you if you can't be relied upon. Professional and Positive Energy---Can-do, positive attitude is a non-negotiable quality. Figure out solutions, don't complain about problems. Compensation/ Benefits:

Two weeks paid vacation, pre-set over July 4th week and Christmas week. 3.5 days of sick time per year and 10 additional paid holidays in addition to company health insurance with employee contribution. Employees participate in a generous profit-sharing program with end of year bonuses based on profit and your individual contribution.

Wage:

$17.00 to $19.00 /hour to start, depending on experience Start time is either 6a or 11am, M-F 40 hours/week, overtime is possible. Occasional Saturdays optional.
