1st Shift Die Repairman

Modern Forge, Piney Flats, TN, is accepting applications for a Die Repairman. You will perform various forge and secondary tooling repairs/refurbishments using Hydro-tels, CNC Lathe and Wire EDM machines. After 30 days of service, you become eligible for company paid holidays. After 3 months of service, you become eligible for participation in our medical, dental, vision, and 401K coverage. After 6 months of service, you are eligible for vacation pay. After 6 months of service, you are eligible for vacation pay. Responsibilities Follow all safety procedures Review Priority Boards to determine work priority Receive work instructions from Die Shop Foreman and/or die repair cards Interpret Sink and Die layout prints and plan working procedure Set up and operate Hydro-tels, CNC Lathe and Wire EDM machine to perform various tooling repairs/ refurbishments Select and grind cutting tools needed for the job based on desired physical properties and finish Keeps work area clean and orderly at all times Other duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required. Relevant machine experience required. Machining Certification preferred. Additional Requirements Final candidates will be required to undergo a background check and a drug screening as part of the hiring process. Schedule 1st Shift 8-10-hour shifts Overtime as needed Weekends as needed
