Experience, Attitude, Risk & Safety Aptitude Experience & Attitude:
A technically grounded, highly communicative production professional with a strong working knowledge of manufacturing flow and a passion for mentoring team members on shift.
Risk & Safety Aptitude:
A safety-conscious operator dedicated to clean, hazard-free workspaces; routinely monitors machine safety functions and strictly adheres to standard operating procedures. Candidate Profile Skilled Machine Operator & Mold Tech with at least 3 years experience working in plastics injection molding and high-volume technical manufacturing environments.
Relevant Tasks:
Responsible for running and monitoring complex molding presses, identifying equipment or process issues, performing diagnostic troubleshooting, and executing necessary corrective actions. Competent in logging daily press reports and keeping press boards up to date. Experience with
Tools:
Proficient with injection molding presses, secondary technical tools used for machinery diagnostics, product bins, and material handling equipment. Certified to
Operate:
Fully qualified to run production machinery, manage raw material loading/unloading, and execute 5-S compliance checklists across designated plant zones.

A stable, growth-oriented role on a dedicated molding team where technical expertise in cycle times and a background in process troubleshooting can be used to maximize plant throughput.

Major Responsibilities/Activities (List in order of importance the essential functions of the job): Ensure all machine are running at a standard rate, cavitation & cycle time Perform quality checks at predetermined times and record on all products being molded to ensure all parts produced are to the highest acceptable quality level Monitor machines to ensure proper functions and safety. Notify appropriate persons when there is a machine or tool malfunction Load and unload product bins or containers as necessary 5-S and daily check list form on presses and surrounding area (clean presses and surrounding area daily) Complete daily molding log book (press report) and press board Perform diagnostics on production process and equipment problems determining necessary corrective actions Provide training to shift personnel regarding standard operating procedures and processing techniques. Basic Qualifications (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required): High School Diploma/GED Minimum 3 years experience in a technical capacity in molding Working knowledge of production flow and processes Adequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)
