Job Description

Position Description:
Machine Operator The Machine Operator plays a key role in ensuring the site is completely prepped for the home to be set successfully. The primary responsibility of this position is to finalize location details, gain access to the site, drainage and more. This purpose of this process is to identify site complications up front and address them before construction begins.
Specific Duties:
Ability to use a bulldozer, skid steer, mini excavator, track hoe and laser transit Shoot grade Read foundation plans Lay out foundation Understanding of septic system placement Ability to install French drains and contour swells to properly drain site Dig footers and pour concrete Envision what site will look like during planning to properly complete Carry out end of shift/day clean up procedures, such as cleaning and servicing of workstations and equipment Additional Specific duties as applicable
Requirements:
Ability to work in all environments (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow) Friendly, cooperative, and a team player Committed to a high level of customer satisfaction and takes pride in their work Strong communication, analytical and reasoning skills Professional and friendly customer service-oriented attitude Able to lift at least 100lbs Able to stand, stoop, push, pull, bend and climb for long periods of time Other physical duties, as needed Class A CDL (can be obtained after hire with HouseSmart's assistance) Applicants are subject to a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen
Pay:
$30/hr+ based on experience Paid Weekly Benefits Comprehensive Benefit Package
