The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining waterjet machines to produce high-quality components that meet engineering specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC waterjet cutting systems (preferably OMAX) to manufacture components as per drawings and specifications. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and technical work instructions accurately. Ensure parts are produced within required tolerances, edge quality, and stock allowances for downstream machining. Perform complete machine setup, including material loading, fixture setup, and parameter configuration. Conduct in-process and final inspections using Precision Measuring Instruments (PMI). Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of waterjet systems. Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection records. Adhere to all safety, quality, and company procedures. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC waterjet cutting systems. Experience with OMAX waterjet equipment is highly preferred. Proficiency in using Precision Measuring Instruments (PMI). Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Good understanding of machining tolerances and material behavior. Preferred Skills Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Basic knowledge of CNC programming (OMAX Layout/Make preferred). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$27.69 - $36.34 per hour
