PRIMARY FUNCTION
Maintain the Machine Shop and other production areas throughout the plant facility. Perform painting and assembly operations of valves and hydrants as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1) Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. 2) Must be able to read, write and understand written schedules and instructions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Keep work areas clean. 2) See that all waste is disposed of properly. 3) Assist production operations as needed. 4) Interpret the Material Detail List (MDL) to gather product specifications. 5) Learn the assembly processes required to produce quality products. 6) Learn the component parts required in the assembly processes. 7) Assist General Utility "A" and assemblers when need arises. 8) Keep immediate supervisor informed when and if additional help is needed to perform responsibilities. 9) Follow all safety rules at all times. Report any safety hazard to immediate supervisor.
