Job Description MACHINE OPERATORMonday - Friday 8:00 am - until finished $17.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 Set up and align saw/slitter machines for operationPlace foam orders as neededMaintain a steady production rateFollow all safety and quality guidelines and proceduresKeep work area clean and organizedParticipate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processesIdentify and report product, process, or quality system issuesRecommend or initiate solutions through proper channelsVerify the implementation of corrective actionsHalt further processing of nonconforming product until issues are resolvedNotify management of any quality-related concernsPerform additional duties as directed by supervisor or lead 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year of factory or manufacturing experienceAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbsProficient in reading measuring devices
