The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our distribution center by managing the flow of goods and ensuring accurate inventory control. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and familiarity with warehouse operations. Responsibilities Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling and placement. Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to facilitate the movement of goods within the warehouse. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that products are selected according to customer specifications. Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Keep the warehouse organized and clean, adhering to best practices for safety and efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the role. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
