EMBROIDERY OPERATOR 33

Ink is a fast-growing, screen print and embroidery shop in Carrollton looking to add a key embroidery machine operators to our team. The Embroidery Operator is responsible for helping make our client's embroidery dream's come true through high quality work and attention to detail. This is a progressive role with room to grow at our company and make a big impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and operate embroidery equipment, including thread and needle changes
• Review work orders and art approvals to match digitized files with correct work orders
• Confirm correct logo, placement, thread colors to Art Approval to guarantee accuracy
• Changing thread and needles as needed
• Re-loading bobbins, on-going maintenance to machine as needed
• Loading and unloading embroidery machine
• Hooping and unhooping using Hoopmaster and hooping best practices
• Sewing hem tags and other small items as needed
• Ability to learn new techniques, receive training and feedback
• Guarantee accuracy, placement, and keep spoilage at a minimum
• Perform consistent quality control
• Communicates openly and kindly with Production Manager, Management team, and other team members
• Ensures that the work area is neat and clean to provide a professional and safe working environment
• Other duties not listed above to be required
• Responsible for working independently on assigned tasks but part of a healthy team
• May be required to highlight areas of concern and make recommendations for process improvements

EXPERIENCE

• Hard-working, reliable, good organization and communication (required)
• 2+ years in embroidery experience (required)
• Experience with a Barudan or Tajima embroidery machine (preferred)
• Familiar with embroidery files, embroidery best practices
• Sewing ability to thread a needle, understand thread tension, make adjustments as needed
• Ability to bring embroidery systems and best practices to a growing company
• Computer savvy
• Able to work independently on tasks and get work done quickly and efficiently
• Acute attention to detail
• Excellent communication
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 50lbs on a consistent basis

LOCATION

• 33 Ink
• 1728 Trinity Valley Drive, Carrollton, TX 75006 SCHEDULE
• Full-time, hourly
• 40+ hours, weekly
• Work shift: 6:30am-3pm Monday to Friday (A lot of Overtime Available)

BENEFITS

• Starting pay from $17-$20/hr

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Strong work ethic - honest and dependable
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Must have high attention to detail and quality focused
• Ability to bend and lift approximately 50 pounds repeatedly
• Applicant must have reliable transportation and flexible working hours as needed
• Friendly and positive attitude that treats the company and fellow employees respectively
