Position Summary:
The Pin Chaser is responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of bowling lane equipment to ensure a safe, functional, and enjoyable guest experience. This entry-level role focuses on responding to lane issues, assisting with basic mechanical tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, eager to learn, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to lane calls and resolve basic bowling equipment issues (e.g., pin jams, ball returns, scoring interruptions)
  • Learn and perform basic bowling machine troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mechanic area, tools, and parts
  • Follow all safety procedures related to mechanical work and equipment handling
  • Assist senior mechanics with repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections as needed
  • Monitor lanes proactively to minimize downtime and enhance guest experience
  • Work collaboratively with team members across departments to support overall operations
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds
  • Must be comfortable working in mechanical spaces, including behind bowling lanes and in tight, cramped areas
  • Must be able to climb and work on ladders
  • Ability to work in varying noise levels and temperatures
