We have an opportunity for an Assembly Operator to join our Conroe, Texas team. You will be responsible for producing custom components and assembly according to blueprints, adhering to a production schedule, ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and secured and ensuring that safety standards are always met.
You will:
Assemble all components per bill of material, work instructions, and company process following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation, and safety requirements as documented in the company's quality system.
Test products, equipment, and materials per the production department and company's quality system procedures.
Work alongside team members while striving for the daily production goals.
Understand quality procedures and where they are located.
Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
Understand, follow, and actively participate in lean initiatives (hr x hr documenting, line standard work, MDI, 5s).
Show interest in line improvement, identify concerns, and actively give suggestions.
Inspect finished products and properly package for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
Key Qualifications:
Must be able to stand and work 10 hours a day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machines.
Be able to utilize calibrated precision measuring instruments.
Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Position Hours/Shift:
1st shift hours Monday through Thursday from 5am - 3:30pm
Must be open to working overtime if needed on
Friday Compensation:
The hourly pay for this role is: $16.00. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
