Starting Hourly Wage:
$29.48 hourly + $1.00 shift differential
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is responsible for: Operating the pour table and laminator.

Verifying product run information is correct.

Driving operational efficiencies e.g. wet density and line speed
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ability to enter in required information / program machine for operation. Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template. Positions work piece against stops or aligns layout marks with die or blade. Operates controls which may include levers, switches, buttons, pedals, etc., to activate machines. Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation. Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from work piece. Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces. Assists other machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces. Can perform basic Personal Computer skills so they can enter in labor and perform inventory adjustments. Can use material handling equipment to move materials when required. Cleans work area, machines, and equipment; assists team members as needed. all Standard Operating Procedures Safely.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
High School Diploma Minimum 1 year Machine Operator Experience Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
