diana, texas Posted 4/8/2026 Closes 5/31/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Temp to Perm 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_174427 We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining efficient production processes within a dynamic manufacturing facility. This role requires an understanding of mechanical systems, precision measurement, and manufacturing best practices to support high-quality output and safety compliance.
Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assessment Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machinery to minimize downtime. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist in packaging and assembly line operations as needed. Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications. ... Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards and factory protocols. Assist in fabrication tasks including welding, tooling setup, and fabrication of parts when required.

Hands-on experience with hand tools, calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, welding techniques, and tooling setup. Prior manufacturing or factory experience in a production environment is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety protocols related to machining equipment and materials handling is essential. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where technical skills are valued and developed further through ongoing training and hands-on experience.
