Job purpose Under direction of the Bluing Supervisor perform diversified duties to include operations of the sandblast machines Duties and responsibilities ? Do wash πckle process as described on the OP-Sheet and as indicated by Supervisor/ME. ? Do bluing process (black oxide) as described on the OP-Sheets and as indicated by Supervisor/ME. ? Do phosphate process as described on the OP-Sheets and as indicated by Supervisor/ME. ? Run Equipment under parameters established by the Manufacturing Engineer. ? Run production sequence as indicated by supervisor/planer. ? Inspect parts as described in quality plan. ? Count parts and fill out routing sheets. ? Fill out production reports on daily basis. ? Close main area valves for water and gas at the end of the last shift of the day. ? Maintain tools/equipment clean and in good conditions. ? Maintain areas organized and clean as requested (6S's) ? Handle materials with care to avoid dents and scratches. ? Wear required PPE on the working area. Qualifications ? Ability to read and understand routing sheets written in English. ? Ability to follow written instructions in routing sheets. ? Able to measure temperatures to run equipment under specified parameters. ? Able to do titrations in order to maintain chemical concentrations recommended by supplier or Manufacturing Engineer. Working conditions Exposure to shop elements making conditions less desirable than usually found in an office. Physical requirements ? Standing
