Job Description

Position Summary The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling small box components and related products according to established work instructions, quality standards, and production requirements. This position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to safely use hand and power tools, including electric screwdrivers. The Assembly Operator plays a key role in ensuring product quality, accuracy, and timely production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble small box components and related products according to specifications and work instructions. Operate electric screwdrivers and other hand tools safely and efficiently. Install screws, hardware, and components as required by assembly procedures. Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns. Follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production schedules. Maintain production pace while ensuring accuracy and quality. Perform visual inspections throughout the assembly process. Package, label, and prepare completed products for shipment as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements. Assist with inventory counts, material handling, and production support activities as needed. Participate in cross-training activities and support other production areas as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business and operational needs. Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of Previous assembly or manufacturing experience Ability to safely operate hand tools and electric screwdrivers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to read and follow work instructions and assembly procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the work shift. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling small components and tools. Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the work area. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work Environment Manufacturing and assembly environment. Frequent use of hand tools and electric screwdrivers. Exposure to moving equipment and production activities. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable. Fast-paced production setting requiring attention to detail and consistent quality performance.
