Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure quality products are manufactured safely and efficiently. This position requires adherence to company safety standards, quality requirements, and production schedules during 2nd and 3rd shift operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment according to established procedures and work instructions. Set up machines and make adjustments as needed to maintain production standards. Monitor machine performance and identify equipment issues or malfunctions. Perform routine quality inspections and document production results. Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines. Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards. Complete required production, quality, and safety documentation. Follow all safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Communicate production issues and shift updates to supervisors and team members. Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives.
