Kitting Operator Farmers Branch, TX 75244 $15 an hour

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are in need of a kitting associate. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate for print production. You will be responsible for assembling a variety of books and kits, learning workbooks and training manuals, as well as building, filling and moving boxes. You will play a pivotal role in our kitting department and as such, you will be part of a team that strives to improve our processes and optimize all workflows.CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Accurately read and understand job tickets
- Setting up and operating our shrink-wrapping equipment
- Ability to prioritize, collaborate, solve problems and communicate
- Able to complete tasks with minimum supervision
- Complete customer orders by, counting, boxing, labeling and prepping for shipment
- Quality control to ensure product accuracy and minimal spoilage
- Maintain proper machine maintenance and lubrication
- Strong communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS NEEDED
- Experience in kitting is Required
- Basic bindery equipment knowledge a plus
- Mechanically minded
- able to set-up, troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Time Management
- understand production schedules and due dates
- Ability to multitask while maintaining quality
- Strong organizational skills
- Results driven and detail oriented
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical ability and stamina sufficient to maintain continuous physical effort throughout shift. This includes frequent lifting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching and twisting. Physical strength and ability sufficient to perform manual labor for extended periods of time. Manual labor is defined as exerting force sufficient to lift up to 50 lbs.A FEW OF OUR AWESOME BENEFITS
