RESPONSIBILITIESSet up, operate, or monitor forging machinesTaper, shape, or form metal/plastic partsRead and interpret work orders and blueprintsDetermine project specificationsMove metal wires or pieces through dies that condense and mold stock to form die impressionsPerform hot or cold forging by flattening, straightening, bending, cutting, or piercing to form metalAdjust controls to set pressures and depths of ram strokes and coordinate operationsInspect production for quality and damagesVerify conformance to project specificationsLearn basic troubleshooting and perform minor repairsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
