Job Description

General Summary ONA Polymers LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Tanker Truck Loader to support our Garland team. This role requires strong multitasking ability and a proactive, team-focused mindset. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an outdoor environment and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role supports both bulk tanker loading and tote loading operations and requires flexibility to cross-train within the department. Work is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment and may include exposure to moving equipment, chemical products, outdoor weather conditions, and varying temperatures. This position requires significant walking, climbing stairs, forklift operation, and the ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Employees must properly utilize all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety and regulatory requirements.
Schedule :
Rotating 8-hour shifts. Monday through Saturday, with overtime as required. 6:00 AM

  • 10:00 PM Essential Job Functions Bulk Tanker Loading Scale in and properly spot bulk tank trucks for loading Connect and disconnect hoses for product loading and transfer Calculate and verify product quantities to be loaded Sample product and monitor loading operations for quality and accuracy Disconnect hoses and scale out loaded trucks Complete required loading paperwork and documentation Tote Loading Package finished product into tote bins Relocate, stage, and store totes using a forklift Transfer product through pipelines and transfer systems Connect and disconnect transfer hoses safely Filter product during transfer operations Operate pumps and mechanical equipment to complete product transfers Verify product codes, quantities, and packaging requirements General Department Responsibilities Utilize required PPE and follow all safety procedures Perform routine emptying of waste receptacles Perform routine cleaning of production areas using pressure washers and other cleaning equipment Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the department Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns Support departmental operations and perform additional duties as assigned Work collaboratively with supervisors, drivers, and team members Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Basic math and measurement skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Positive, "get it done the right way" attitude Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed Education and Experience Required High School Diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 1 year forklift experience Ability to become forklift certified through company training program Preferred Previous experience in chemical manufacturing, bulk loading, tote filling, or industrial operations Experience handling hazardous materials or chemical products Basic computer and inventory system experience Physical Requirement Frequency Standing /
