Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused OPGW Wire Rewinder to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating wire rewinding machines used in the production of Optical Ground Wire (OPGW). The ideal candidate will assist with production operations, support strander operators as needed, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate wire rewinding machines safely and efficiently. Monitor the rewinding process to ensure proper wire alignment and spool quality. Assist strander operators with setup, material handling, and production tasks as needed. Inspect wire and spools during the rewinding process to identify defects or issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe production environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned to support production and company needs.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus. Ability to work safely around industrial machinery. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Team-oriented with a willingness to assist where needed. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.

Work Environment:

Manufacturing/industrial setting. Requires standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods. Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
