This role is responsible for operating and setting up equipment used to cut, bend, and shape steel and aluminum plates used in production. Responsibilities Set up and operate fabrication machinery (press brake, shear, punch) Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications Change out tooling (dies, punches, blades) based on job requirements Measure and cut materials accurately to minimize waste Perform routine machine maintenance (oil, grease, upkeep) Operate forklift to move materials Use plasma cutter and/or oxy-acetylene torch Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Previous experience operating and setting up fabrication machines Ability to read and understand blueprints Experience with press brake, shear, and punch machines Familiarity with plasma cutting or torch cutting Forklift experience required Strong math and measurement skills (tape measure) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Reliable and able to work overtime as needed
