Job Description

Location:
19103 Gundle Rd. Houston, TX 77044
Schedule:
7 to 7 (12 hours shifts) rotating every 4 weeks (must be available to work mornings and nights) 3's and 4's days per week (must be available to work all week including weekends) Direct Hire role- Full Benefits. Position Overview The purpose of this position is to set up and run one type of production line, including making product changes in accordance with the scheduling requirements. Essential Job Functions Shut down and start up one type of machine or station (as applicable to his or her area) Manage raw material changes on one machine or station (as applicable to his or her area) Set up blender on one type of machine or station (as applicable to his or her area) Troubleshoot and adjust one type of machine or station (as applicable to his or her area) Make product changes on one type of machine or station (as applicable to his or her area) Make QC judgments on one type of machine or station (as applicable to his or her area) Monitor the second type of machine. Other Job Functions Assist and train new operators. Identify unsafe working conditions. •Basic Qualifications 1-year general work experience is desirable, plus 1-2 years experience as Solmax Operator High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and write; enter data on reports. Math skills required working with product weights, lengths, etc. Certified Forklift driver Assistance is required for lifting weights of more than 50 lbs. Ability to climb to other levels and conduct work on that level. Ability to be exposed to heat conditions. Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating shift basis.
