Job DescriptionJOB DETAILSBase pay starts at $17.50 per hour + $1.00 shift differential
Shift Hours:
4:30 pm - 1:00 am, hours may vary depending on operations.(Training may occur during Day Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm)
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESSet up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operationsKnowledge of production techniques and have the ability to produce quality-building partsKnows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environmentAbility to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipmentPerform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operationMark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct partsInterpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished partsMaintains continuous improvement practices in work areaStanding and walking 8-12 hrs. every dayRepetitive material handling. Some in awkward body positioning.

Repetitive climbing on and off of equipment and laddersVarying and extreme working conditions inside and outside (Hot, Cold, Rain, Shine)QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED)A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environmentGood Communication SkillsBasic Computer SkillsExperience with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment and nail gunsAble to use of measuring gaugesAble to read a tape measureForklift experience a plus / Must be trainable on forkliftCrane experience a plus / Must be trainable on craneFlexible with working overtime and weekends when neededAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

14031 W Hardy Rd., Houston, TX 77060This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
