12 Hour, Day Shift

POSITION PURPOSE

Operate and monitor wire drawing machines to manufacture copper products according to technical specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect machines and auxiliary equipment before starting the wire drawing process.
• Set up and mount wire drawing dies according to production specifications.
• Operate wire drawing machinery ensuring compliance with process parameters and routing instructions.
• Collect samples for quality tests such as grain size, hardness, and torsion testing.
• Record finished products, by-products, and downtime in the production system.
• Prepare and complete production documentation and reports.
• Monitor critical control points to detect potential quality deviations.
• Record production data in SAP to support inventory and stock control.
• Generate maintenance notifications when equipment service is required.
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents and support plant safety inspections.
• Maintain work areas organized and clean following 5S practices.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE 6

months - 1 year operating industrial machinery in manufacturing environments preferred.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
